Due to the dangerous weather forecast with ice and snow, Midland School District will be closed Thursday, February 17th. The district will implement an E-learning day. The winter weather advisory is in effect until 9pm Thursday evening. Evening activities will be determined later. Please view the attached document for E-learning details. Please be safe and stay off the roads. If you wish to order a school lunch to be picked up at Lacon Elementary, please fill out the school lunch form located in the E-learning plan. Tonight, the Midland BOE approved an updated mitigation plan effective immediately. The plan includes 3 mitigation levels pending internal positive cases. Each level incorporates additional mitigation protocols for safety at each level. Please see the attached document for more details. Starting tomorrow, masks will be optional during the school day. The only exception would be on district buses. Masks will be required on buses to and from school as it is a federal requirement. Thank you and Remember..It's a great day to be a TImberwolf.

Midland schools will be running on a 2-hour later start tomorrow, January 26th due to wind chill temperatures. Warmer temperatures are predicted for later in the morning as the Wind Chill Advisory expires at 9am. Buses will be running their routes 2-hours behind their original times. There will be no morning PreK. Evening activities will resume as normal.
