Description

Must have knowledge and ability to perform assigned duties with little training required.
Must have basic knowledge of building maintenance.
Must have physical fitness, strength, agility, and stamina to work on ladders, scaffolding, and roofs; be able to lift at least 50 pounds above waist, be on feet for prolonged periods, and do light to medium manual tasks such as digging, snow shoveling, and furniture moving in a safe manner.
Must be able to read, write, understand, and follow written and oral instructions.
Any necessary cleaning to facilitate and promote a healthy building environment
Shut off utilities in emergencies and a map of locating existence
Use of ladders, auto scrubbers, lawnmower, buffers, small equipment, and tools consistent with job description
Maintain the inside/outside aesthetics of the building
Any other duties assigned by Principal or District Head of Maintenance.

Responsible for logging and following-up work orders
Be the primary facilitator of work orders for building
Inspection Requirements: exit lights, batteries, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, fire alarm systems
Complete monthly preventative maintenance form
Any necessary cleaning to facilitate and promote a healthy building environment
General Maintenance:
Maintain a log of A/C maintenance to include service and filter change out monthly
Knowledge of utility plans for the building
Shut off utilities in emergencies and a map of locating existence
Lubricate door locks, as needed
Perform preventative maintenance on all custodial equipment as required
All carpentry, plumbing, electrical, pressure washing, and painting repairs as needed
Minor troubleshooting before calling maintenance and requesting work orders
Use of ladders, auto scrubbers, lawnmower, buffers, small equipment, and tools consistent with job description
Maintain the inside/outside aesthetics of the building

Description

To provide one-on-one support to a student with special needs in a dynamic classroom setting. The ideal candidate will assist the student in achieving their academic, social, and personal goals while fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. The Paraprofessional will work closely with the student, teachers, and other school staff to ensure the student’s specific needs are met in accordance with their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
