Each week we will be highlighting two of our MHS Seniors. This week we want to give a shout out to Katerina Lenz and Angelina Gonzalez.
Katerina (Kat) is the daughter of Autumn and Davey Lenz. During her time at MHS, Katerina has been active in the Student Council and Scholastic Bowl team. Katerina has managed to balance her school work along with performing for the Peoria Ballet Company for the past 14 years! After graduation, Katerina plans to attend Michigan State University to major in Veterinary Medicine with a minor in Dance. Her hope is to one day open an clinic, specializing in treating cats.
Angelina is the daughter of Nancy Shwaiki and Jerry Gonzalez. During her time at MHS, Angelina has been active in Student Council, Volleyball, Cheerleading, Science Club, Art Club, and Green and Black Pack. After high school, Angelina plans to attend Northwestern University or the University of Texas to pursue volleyball and then medical school. Her goal is to work at a hospital and have a long career in the medical field.
